Ralph Wayne Chaney

CHANEY, Ralph Wayne Age 61 of Brookville passed away after a lengthy battle with Cancer on Thursday, December 6, 2018. He was born in Dayton on November 10, 1957 to his father, Ralph Chaney, who precedes him in death, and his mother, Mary Frances (Tipton) Chaney, who survives him. Along with his mother, Ralph is survived by his loving wife of nearly 29 years, Vanita Chaney; daughter, Danielle Chaney; brothers, Linville (Virginia) Chaney, and Eddie Chaney; sister, Lisa Chaney; nieces, Dawn, Sarah (Eric), and Ashley; nephew, Gunner; and numerous other family members and friends. Ralph was a 1976 graduate of Trotwood-Madison High School. He was proud to have earned his RN degree and worked as an Electrical Technician at AIDA for many years. Ralph was a big fan of the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Reds. He was also an avid gun collector who loved hunting and fishing but most of all he was a loving husband and father. He will be dearly missed. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Tuesday evening at Rogers’ Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018 also at the funeral home. Pastor Don Betts officiating. Interment will follow at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens.
