Ralph E. Chronabery

CHRONABERY, Ralph E. Age 88, of Dayton, went to his fishing hole in the sky on Tuesday June 6, 2017. He was born January 26, 1929 in Troy to the late Clifford and Ruth Chronabery. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 62 years, Shirley Chronabery; brother, Clifford Chronabery; and sister, Nancy George. He is survived by his daughter, Ginger (Ronnie R. Bowman) Norman; and several nieces and nephews. Ralph retired from Chrysler Air-Temp on March 31, 1989 after 27 years of service. He was a member of the union IUE local 775. He loved to fish, traveling to Canada and Michigan looking to catch northern pike. He was an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan and you could always find him sitting in front of his garage waving to passing cars and smoking cigarettes, wishing they were about a foot long. The family will receive friends Monday June 12 from 6-8PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, Trotwood. A funeral service will begin at 11AM at the funeral home on Tuesday June 13 with Chaplain Sue Sack officiating. Burial will follow at Eversole Cemetery, New Lebanon.
