Ray C. Jeffers, Jr.

JEFFERS, Ray C., Jr. Age 63 of Dayton, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021. He was born in Logan, WV on September 2, 1958 to his late parents, Ray C. Jeffers, Sr. & Wanda (Nelson) Jeffers. Ray is survived by his wife of 34 years, Judy Jeffers; 7 children, Josiah Fugate, Joshua (Amy) Jeffers, Jeremy (Casey) Jeffers, Janelle (Jeremy) Smith, Skye Barnhart, Justin (Lea) Jeffers, and Jacqueline (Nick) Jeffers; 4 siblings Cecelia, Althea, Jimmy, and Charlene; grandchildren, Jaimie, Joshua, Conner, Tyler, Emily, Cyleigh, Raelynn, Hayden, Caden, Skyler, Laeton, Jamison, Brantley, Aubrey,Jameson, Nova, and Beau; also, great grandchildren, Jack, Harper, and Andrew. Fishing was a life long hobby that he was able to enjoy with dear friends and family whether it be out of town working with close friend Rodney or at the park with his boys. He was also blessed to grew up around horses that would become a love that was mostly used up in his younger years and while aging with the love of watching grandchildren grow and run wild he still found time for a ride on the motorcycle or some welding and repair of anything that just about anyone would bring him. Visitation will be held from 11am-1pm with funeral to follow at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Burial will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery.
