JEFFERS, Ray C., Sr. Age 84, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020. He was born on August 10, 1935 to his parents, Claude and Verda May (Strunk) Jeffers In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his Wife Wanda (Nelson) Jeffers, Sisters- Ruth Patterson, Elizabeth Bedford, Dillie Sanders, Eleanor Arthur. Granddaughter Jamie Jeffers, and Great grandson Kristen Grubbs, He is survived by Ray C. (Judy) Jeffers, Jr. of Dayton, Ohio, Cecilia Jeffers of Tennessee, James Jeffers of Dayton, OH, Althea (Thomas) Fugate of Creek, Kentucky, Charlene Haston of Dayton, Ohio, also 21 Grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, Ray was friendly man, always willing to help others. Enjoyed to tinker on many projects. Took pleasure in caring for horses, watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren grow. Warm smile and lots of laughter was made with Ray Jeffers such a loved man. A visitation will be held from 2-3 PM with Memorial service to follow at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 20th at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon.
