Raymond J. Seim

SEIM, Raymond J. Age 82, of New Lebanon, went to be with the Lord Tuesday February 27, 2018. He was born March 22, 1935 in Darke County, Ohio, the first of 2 sons, to Noah and Alberta Seim. Both preceded him in death in June 2000. He was also preceded in death by an infant son, Timothy. Raymond is survived by his wife of 60 years, Vera (Ullmer) Seim; brother, Berman (Marietta) Seim; 3 children, Karen (Douglas) Evans, Anna (Ernie) Frisby, and Mary Ann (Glenn) Puterbaugh; 2 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. He was a life-long resident of Montgomery County/Perry Township and graduated from Dixie High School, Class of 1953. Before graduating, he worked in the family business, Seims Garage, and retired in 2002. Raymond enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He was a life-long member of St. Peters Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Saturday, March 3 from 10AM to 12PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. The funeral service will begin at 12PM with burial to follow at Eversole Cemetery, New Lebanon. Contributions in Raymond’s memory may be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 8009 E.
