Raymond P. Yates

YATES, Raymond Peter Age 57 of Fairborn, passed away Monday, August 28, 2017. Born in Dayton, Ohio on November 22, 1959 to his parents, Raymond A. & Clara L. (Lograsso) Yates, who precede him in death along with his brother, Allen F. Yates. Raymond is survived by his wife, Maria U. Yates; son, Jacob A. Yates; son, Jonathon A. Yates; daughter, Maria A. Yates; son, Jeremy A. Yates; granddaughter, Addison M. Yates; brother, David B. (Lynn) Yates; nephew, Brian Yates; niece, Gretchen M. Yates; and numerous other family members and friends. Raymond loved football. He attended Morehead College in KY where he played linebacker on the football team. He was also an avid Cleveland Browns fan. He enjoyed the outdoors; especially fishing, camping, and bike riding. Raymond worked at Wright State University from 1990 until his retirement in September of 2016. A visitation will be held from 9-10 AM with Funeral Mass to begin at 10:00 AM at St. Helen Parish, 5100 Burkhardt Rd. Dayton, Ohio 45431. Father Satish Joseph will be presiding.
