Rebecca Adkins

Rebecca Adkins was born on June 12, 1958, in Dayton, Ohio. She passed away on January 26, 2026, at Miami Valley Hospital at the age of 67.

She was preceded in death by her longtime companion, Ronnie L. Evans; her mother, Edith Shanefelt; and her father, Richard Weinland.

She is survived by her daughters, Amy (Brian) Sowder and Shannan (Jerry) Garrison; her son, Timothy E. Adkins; her sister, Linda Mosier; and her brother, David Shanefelt. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Rebecca loved music, cookouts, and enjoying bonfires with her family and friends. She was an animal lover and enjoyed watching her favorite television show, “ Dark Shadows “.
