Reta L. Bailey

Bailey, Reta L. (nee Hinzeman) Age 106, of North Ridgeville, Oh., formerly of Ft. Myers, Fl., died Monday, July 4, 2016. She was born January 22, 1910 in Newberne, W.Va. She graduated from Weston High School in Weston, W.Va. After her marriage to Robert J. Bailey, she moved to Dayton, Oh. where her husband was employed. After 10 years of city living, they moved to the New Lebanon, Oh. area where she lived for over 60 years and enjoyed helping to manage their small family farm. Reta enjoyed her grand children, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, family dinners, gardening, bowling, volunteering at the hospital, church choir and the years she spent in Ft. Myers, Fl.. Reta was a member of New Lebanon United Methodist Church, and an associate member of the Central Baptist Church of Ft. Myers, Fl. Survivors include two granddaughters, Diann (Hank) Bruner of Grafton, Oh. and Tammy (Russell) Lewis of Lorain, Oh.; five great grandchildren, Wesley (Desirae) Bruner of Grafton, Oh., Amanda (Cole) Dame of Dublin, Tx., Molly (Eric) Stout of Grafton, Oh., Erica (K.D.) Scott and Elizabeth (Nate) Kellogg of Lorain, Oh.; seven great-great grandsons, Rylee and Carson Bruner, Kayden Thomas, Luke Stout, Landon and Liam Kellogg and Voss Dame; and three great-great granddaughters, Zoey Stout, Violet Scott and Harlow Dame. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 56 years, Robert J. Bailey (1986); her son Robert K. Bailey (1994); her daughter-in-law, Marilyn (Kerns) Bailey (2003); her second husband, Fred Emerson (1994); her brother, Ralph Hinzeman; her sisters Helen (Hinzeman) Hacker and Lois (Hinzeman) Alfred; and her parents Patrick and Minnie Hinzeman.
