Reva (Rose) Adkins

ADKINS, Reva (Rose) Age 81, born in Wolfe County, Kentucky to Courtney and Nora Rose, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Bobby Ray; son, Kenneth; Daughter, Lois Gudger; 3 grandchildren; 4 brothers; and 4 sisters. Reva is survived by her children, Donna (Mike) Exman, Patricia (Vernon) Peters, Rita (David) White, and Michael (Rhonda) Adkins; 15 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; sister, Linda Alexander; numerous nieces and nephews; and a very special friend, William Perry. She loved her family, and enjoyed music and dancing. The visitation will be Saturday, July 16 from 11AM to 1PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. The funeral service will begin at 1PM with Pastor Donnie Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Trotwood. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Reva’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
