Richard G. Barson

BARSON, Richard G. Age 85, of Trotwood, went to be with the Lord Saturday, January 5, 2019. He was born October 1, 1933 in Peterborough, Ontario to the late Clifford and Doris Barson. Along with his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Barbara; and infant daughter, Diana. Survivors include his sons, Clifford (Darcy) and Richard; grandchildren, Stuart and Judee; nephew, Hugh McIvor; and niece, Gail McKee. Richard was a long-time employee of the Dayton Daily News and had a passion for playing golf. A Celebration of Life will take place at the convenience of the family.
