Ricky was a roofer for many years and worked at WPAFB as a stocker. Ricky loved everyone; he never met a stranger. He enjoyed people and loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren. La’myah had him wrapped around his finger from day one, she stole his heart. Ricky was a lovable man and loved his dog, Dozer. I often said he was a pit bull with the heart of a Teddy Bear. He has many special friends that loved him dearly. I would like to thank John and Christina for being the best of friends. Also, Edie, Debbie, Anita, Barbie, Ladesa, Mary Ann, and Rick T. for helping me through this and constantly coming to see him or checking on him. Special shout out to his niece Tiffany Trotter for being our support person and helping me keep him home longer. Hospice of Dayton was amazing and gave my father the comfort and peace he deserved.
Visitation will be from 11am-1pm with funeral service to begin at 1:00pm on Friday, May 24th, 2024. Interment will follow at Trissel Cemetery. www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
