Richard A. Eby

EBY, Richard “Rick” Age 71 of Germantown, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 18, 2021. He was born in New Lebanon, Ohio on August 15, 1949 to his parents, Dareld & Martha (Erisman) Eby. Rick was preceded in death by his mother, Martha; and brother, James Eby. Rick is survived by his wife, Henrietta "Henri"; son, Eric; grandchildren, Autumn and Jasmine Eby, and Domonick Millmore; father, Dareld Eby (Stella); brother, Jerry Eby (Bonnie); sister, Sharon Shell (George); brother, Ron Eby; sister, Linda Barnhart; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Rick was a lifetime farmer but worked and retired from GM after 30 years. He served in the Ohio National Guard, was a 4-H Club advisor, member of the Farm Bureau and Cattleman’s Association. Rick loved to travel, spend time at our cabin and hike in the woods. He left us too soon but we know he was doing what he loved to do best. A memorial visitation will be held from 4-6 PM with celebration of life service and sharing to follow at 6:00 PM on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Rick.
