Richard “Rick” Etter

Age 63 of Brookville, passed away after a lengthy illness on Saturday, February 22, 2025. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on January 13, 1962 to his parents, Don and Gloria Etter who have preceded him in death.

Rick is survived by his wife of 47 years, Teresa Etter; daughter, Ashley (Gus) Etter; son, Josh Etter; brothers, Ronald (Patti) Etter & Randy (Dawn) Etter; cousin, Shari Scharrer (Rick); best friend, Randy Van Zant; as well as numerous family members, and friends.

Rick worked at Mound Laboratory, was a branch manager at Hughes Plumbing, and also had his own Tile business. He was a Christian man and attended Brookville Grace Brethren Church for many years. Along with being a master carpenter, and working on projects around the house, Rick also enjoyed gardening, watching racing and the tv show Moonshiners. But most of all he loved spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held from 4-6pm with Celebration of Life service to begin at 6:00pm on Friday, March 7th, 2025 at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
