Richard "Rick" Arlin Ashburn

February 3, 1950 — November 4, 2014

ASHBURN, Richard A. "Rick" age 64, of New Lebanon, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2014. He was born February 3, 1950 in Cookeville, TN to the late Bethel and Juanita Ashburn. Rick was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jeremy Ryan; and sister, Linda Gail Gaccetta. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Charlene; son, Jason R.; daughter, Angela L. (Daryl) Pitts; grandchildren, Grace, Faith, Sophia, and Maximus; brother, Randy (Darlene); numerous nieces and nephews; and host of other relatives and family. Rick retired from Inland/Delphi after 41 years as millwright, USW Local 87 Pension and Insurance Representative, serving 12 years on the Executive Board, was a member of Farmersville Masonic Lodge #482, a member of the First Baptist Church of New Lebanon and was the first head coach for Dixie High School Soccer. The Visitation will be Thursday, November 6 from 5-8PM at the First Baptist Church of New Lebanon, 335 S. Church St., New Lebanon. The Funeral Service will begin at 10:30AM on Friday, November 7 at the church with Pastor Stephen Betts officiating. Burial will follow at Woodside Cemetery, Middletown.
