Richard D. Talmadge

TALMADGE, Richard D. Age 76 of New Lebanon, Ohio passed away in his home, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, October 18, 2014. He was born on May 18, 1938 in Mineola, New York to his parents, Arthur Osborne & Edith Marion (Jacobus) Talmadge. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his step-father, Arthur Ernest Sanzenbach; and 3 brothers, Paul & Keith Sanzenbach, and Stephen Talmadge. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Jeanne (Marsh) Talmadge; 6 children, Maureen (Fritz) Egelhoff, Tami Jones, Scott (Mary) Talmadge, Katy (Keith) Lucas, Amanda (Chris) Proeschel, and Amy (Brian) Honious; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and also 2 brothers, Karl (Anneke) Sanzenbach, and Mark (Donna) Sanzenbach. Richard retired after 35 years at Wright Patterson A.F.B. as a civilian employee. He enjoyed sailing, gardening, woodworking, computers, and camping with his 6 children. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Precious Blood Catholic Church. Father Jim Siebert C.P.P.S. officiating.
