Rick G. Copeland

COPELAND, Rick G. age 56 of Franklin, beloved husband, son, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 11, 2011 at his residence. Rick had a heart beyond infinite measure and each person he knew had a place in it. He is the son of Ridley and Hester and is preceded in death by his father and a special son Justin in 1982. Survived by his loving wife of 32 years Jill, two daughters Jamie (Jeremy) Burr and Jennifer Copeland. Rick was a devoted grandfather to his loving grandchildren Cole and Mackenzie Burr and Hayli Yarber. Rick also is survived by his mother Hester, brothers James (Joann), JR (Becky), Dan (Lori), sisters EJ Howard and Carolyn Jones, father-in-law Brad Arrington, brothers-in-law Mark and Jack Arrington and many more nieces, nephews and dear friends which certainly includes his friends at T & R Racing. A celebration of Rick’s life will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at the ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, 324 West Main St. New Lebanon, OH 45345, with Pastor Tim Livingston presiding. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may wish to call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5-8 PM. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Rick’s special 11 year old buddy Dustin Mullins, to help with his ongoing cancer treatments ( c/o the funeral home.)
