Rita May Hollinger

Hollinger, Rita May 81, of Springboro, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 8, 2021 in her home. She was born September 26, 1939 in Dayton to Eleanor (Kniesley) and Clifford Edward Speraw. Rita taught toddler Sunday School and worked as a Nurses’ Aide in many local nursing homes. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Floyd Speraw; nephew, Scott Speraw. Rita is survived by her husband of 60 years, Gene Hollinger; daughters, Paige (Tom) Gabbard of Camden, OH, Rhonda (Michael) Stoll of Middletown, OH, Gwendy (John) Parsons of Somerville, OH; son, Brian of Springboro, OH; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A graveside service for Rita will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021 at Trissel Cemetery, with the ceremony to begin at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Franklin Vineyard Children’s Ministry or St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital.
