Robert J. Allison, age 87 of Brookville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on March 27, 1939, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Charles, Sr. & Firm (Hix) Allison.

Bob received his master’s degree in mathematical education. Mr. Allison was a retired Math Teacher for the Warren County Career Center with 27 years of service. He was a former Math Professor for Sinclair Community College with 17 years of service; and was an active member of the Union Pentecostal Church and a past Sunday School Teacher, which was his favorite part of teaching. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

Preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Barbara L. (Johnson) Allison on October 15, 2018, his infant son Bobby Allison and by his siblings Clarence, Ralph, Paul, Gaynard, Charles, Jr., Elaine Parrett, Roger and Harley.

He is survived by his loving children Robin Myers and husband Leon, Randy Allison and wife Cheryl, Missy Stout and husband Donnie, his sister-in-law Marie Allison, 9 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the Union Pentecostal Church, 1101 North Union Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45417 with Pastor Kenneth Crews officiating. Burial will follow at the Sugar Grove Cemetery in West Alexandria. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the church.
