Robert Oliver Eblin

ROBERT OLIVER EBLIN, 64, of New Carlisle, passed away suddenly in his home on January 4, 2019. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 11, 1954, the son of the late Earl E. and Letha Click (Long) Eblin. Bob was very proud of his West Dayton Drexel roots and always told people that he graduated from Drexel University. He was a 1972 graduate of Trotwood Madison High School. After graduation, Bob started at UPS washing trucks, and retired following over 30 years of service as a UPS driver. Bob loved his cars and auto racing, and was a member of the Dayton based AULT & JAMES Drag Racing team in the late 70’s. After leaving UPS, he started Big Tow Towing Company, recently retiring due to health issues. Bob is survived by his siblings, Joseph (Mary Kay) Eblin of Miamisburg, Verlin (Janine) Eblin of Ft. Myers, Florida, Dwight (Janice) Eblin of Centerburg, and Ed Eblin of Dayton; several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. A Celebration of life is scheduled for April 11th 6-8 PM at Rogers Funeral Home in Trotwood, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Dayton.
