Robert Russell Hall

HALL, Robert Russell Age 53 of Trotwood was born March 29, 1967 and passed away on May 22, 2020. Robert was born March 29, 1967, in Dayton Ohio, to Robert Lewis Hall and Ruth Brown Hall. He was a 23 year veteran of the US military, serving the US Navy active duty aboard the USS Wisconsin, and serving in both the Navy and Airforce reserves. Tech Sergeant Hall was currently in the Airforce Reserves based out of Wright-Patterson AFB. He was a heavy equipment operator. He also worked for Trotwood-Madison City Schools. Robert is survived by his devoted wife, Angela Faye Hall. They met in Sunday School class as children, and he was the love of her life. Robert is also survived by his loving daughter, Amanda Nicole, and son, Matthew Wayne Hall. Robert's mother, Ruth Leis, brother Steven Hall and wife Rochell, brother Kevin Hall and wife Kimber, sister Michelle Leis, his nieces and nephews, cousins, family and extended family, are heartbroken at his sudden passing, and will miss him so very much. Robert attended Trotwood Church of the Nazarene. His favorite bible verse was, " God is our refuge and strength." Robert is remembered for his strong work ethic and can- do attitude, and his love of serving his country. A private funeral with military honors will be held Friday, May 29, 2020 at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Interment will follow at Dayton National Cemetery. Due to covid-19 gathering restrictions and family request the service will be private but also streamed on Facebook live on the Rogers Funeral Homes Facebook page Friday at 1:00 PM. The Dayton National Cemetery only will allow no more than 10 people/family member to view the burial. Others may visit the grave once interment is completed. Thank you for your understanding.
