Robert W. Hayward

April 25, 1943 — December 28, 2025

Robert W. Hayward, known to many as "Ole Bad Bob", was born on April 25, 1943. He passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025, in Englewood, Ohio. Bob lived a full life, filled with passion and dedication to his work and hobbies.

Bob graduated from Jefferson High School and then attended Manchester College for 2 years to earn his teaching degree but decided to become a plumber. Bob then worked as a plumber with Korrect Plumbing, where he was known for his skill and commitment. His hands were not only used for plumbing; they were also very crafty, and he took great pleasure in making jewelry, among other things. Bob had a love for nature, particularly enjoying bird watching, with a special fondness for hawks. He was also a member of the Fort St. Clair gun club, where he enjoyed spending time with fellow enthusiasts.

In his free time, Bob loved to hunt and go primitive camping with his mountain men group. These outdoor adventures were a source of joy and camaraderie for him, reflecting his adventurous spirit.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Myrna Hayward, and their children, son Jon Hayward and daughter Andrea (Mark) Sheets. He took great pride in being a grandfather to Nathan Sheets, Kayleigh Hayward, and Adriana Sheets. He is also survived by his two sisters, Marcella Hayward and Karen Owens.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, William and Gertrude Hayward, as well as his siblings, Clara Mae, Christine, and Kenny.
