Robert "Smitty" Smith

Smith, Robert “Smitty” Age 73 of Trotwood passed away Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Bonnie; children, Rob, Jeff (Jan), Lois, Lenn (Kim), Trent (Carrie); grandchildren, Moryah (Jamie), Shelby (Matt), Zachary, Vicky, Garett, Dominic, Maggie, Levi, Finn, Rebekah, Linus, Jace, and Madi; great grandchildren, AnnaCate, and Kasen; and sisters, Kay Anthony and Shirley Brown. He was preceded in death by twin sons, Christopher and Allen; and several sisters and brothers. Smitty was a 1964 graduate of Trotwood-Madison High School, a longtime volunteer fire fighter and EMT for Jefferson Township and he worked for ADT security for the past 42 years. Smitty will be remembered by all who knew him as a man who loved his family and loved to fish. He was a kind man with a big heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of Dayton; 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, Ohio 45420.
