Robert E. "Rob" Stearns

STEARNS, Robert E. “Rob” Age 50, of Trotwood, Ohio departed this life and entered into eternal life on Saturday, October 17, 2015. Rob fought a brave battle with cancer, with a positive attitude, choosing to trust in God, and was always willing to share his testimony. Rob was a deacon and active member of Trotwood Baptist Church. He was a member of Painters Local 249, and was co-owner of Apex Painting and Wallcoverings prior to his retirement. Rob had a wonderful sense of humor, and loved fishing, hunting, and nature. Rob is survived by his wife of 29 years, Bev; daughter, Jennifer Borasz; 2 grandsons, Cade and Ryan Borasz; his mother and step-father, Margaret and Jim Boggs; 2 brothers, Walt and Dave Stearns; grandmother, Lovy Lay; and many other beloved family members and friends, too numerous to mention. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, October 21 at Rogers’ Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Trotwood, Ohio 45426. There will also be a visitation from 12-1 PM with funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at the Trotwood Baptist Church, 777 East Trotwood Blvd, Trotwood, Ohio 45426.
