Robert Lee Tharp

THARP, Robert Lee Age 89 of Dayton, passed away Monday, Aug. 18, 2014. He was born in War Creek, KY on July 12, 1925 to his parents, Andrew & Lula (Turner) Tharp. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Andrew Jr., Henry, and Dewey; sister, Oma; his wife, Shirley; son, William; and 3 grandchildren. He is survived by 2 sisters, Mable & Aileen; brother, Charlie; 13 children, Della Mae (George) Camp, Alphia McClendon, Betty Fish, Robert Tharp II, Mable Sortman, Gloria (Gary) Sanders, Betty Tharpe, Terry Tharpe, Robert Tharpe III, Debbie Tharpe, Bonnie (Mike) Speer; Eileen Tharp, and Jerry Tharp; 47 grandchildren, and 59 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5-8PM on Thursday evening at Rogers' Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Trotwood, Ohio 45426. Funeral Service will be Friday, August, 22 at 1:00 PM also at the funeral home. Pastor James Bowman officiating. Interment will follow the service at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
