Robert W. Thau

THAU, Robert W. Jr. Age 74 of Tipp City passed away unexpectedly on February 11, 2014. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on April 9, 1939 to his parents, Robert W. Sr. & Alberta Jane (Fulton) Thau. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Nancy Thau. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Marlene L. Thau; mother-in-law, Vera Lentz Opdyke; daughter, Lisa (Joe) Kinsman; son, Kevin (Christy) Thau; 5 grandchildren, Brady, Gracie, and Genevieve Kinsman, and Gabriel, and Ava Thau; also numerous other family members and friends. Robert proudly served in the U.S. Army and was an Eagle Scout. He was a graduate of U.D. with a Bachelor's Degree in Business and also a member of the Coast Guard Auxilary. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, Feb 15, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Rogers' Funeral Home, 110 West Main St. Trotwood, Ohio 45426 with Pastor Steve Gellatly officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday evening from 5-7PM at the funeral home.
