GRIFFIN, Roger Dale

Age 60 of Dayton, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett V. Griffin and Ruby Hassie Lowe. Roger is survived by his sister, Barbara (Frank) Herzog; brothers, Everett Griffin, Jr., Ernie (Patty) Griffin, and Harold (Lisa) Griffin; daughters, KC Megan Griffin and Nachole Leigh Griffin, and several grandchildren; nephews, Jason Herzog and Robert Griffin; nieces, Amanda (Brian Schwass) Herzog and Cherish (Jerry) Gray; great-nephews, Alec Gray and Adam Gray; great-nieces, Abby Gray and Ruby (Herzog) Schwass; and his many relatives and friends. Roger loved holidays, birthdays and special occasions. So, you knew sometime early in the morning, you were going to get a call wishing you a ……Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday or Happy New Year, etc. He liked fishing and watching football. Roger was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys. At family gatherings, Roger liked to play all the outside and inside games like ring-a-ping, horseshoes, croquet, softball, cards and board games. A Celebration of his life will be held October 22 at 2:00 PM, with visitation prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 PM at REVIVE Church, 4701 Frederick Pike, Dayton, Ohio 45414.
