Roger C. Millikin

MILLIKIN, Roger C. Age 87, of West Alexandria, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home on February 12, 2011. He was a friend to agriculture and conservation, having been a farmer all of his life, an employee of the Montgomery County Soil and Water Conservation District, and a Perry Township Trustee. Roger was a lifetime member of Eversole Church of the Brethren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clara and Roy Millikin, two sisters, Hazel Arrasmith and Mildred Gilbert, one brother, Robert Millikin, and his loving wife of 58 years, Evelyn Millikin. He is survived by his sons, Roger Lynn (Karen) and Martin Roy (Debbie) Millikin, his three grandchildren, Kyle, Matthew and Megan Millikin, and many family members and friends. Friends may wish to call at the Rogers’ Funeral Home in New Lebanon, Ohio on Thursday, February 17, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. A celebration of life service will be held at the Eversole Church of the Brethren, 11414 Old Dayton Rd. New Lebanon, Ohio 45345, on Friday, February 18, 2011 at 10:30 AM. Friends may wish to call one hour prior to the service. Pastor Mark Bowman will officiate. Interment will be at the Eversole Church of the Brethren Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made in memory of Roger to the Eversole Church of the Brethren.
