Ronald G. Downing

DOWNING, Ronald G. Age 81 of Dayton, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020. He was born on December 3, 1938 in Ennis, Kentucky to the late Edward and Ethel (Hunt) Downing. Ronald is survived by his loving wife Nella of 58 years; 2 daughters, Delan Downing, and Tanya (Jason) Powell; brother, Bill Downing; 2 grandchildren, Miranda Oppie and Kelsey Crawford; and other extended family members. Ronald proudly served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for 4 years. He was a lifelong member of the New Lebanon Church of Christ and an avid car enthusiast. A visitation will be held from 12-1 PM with funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 5th at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Pastor Bruce Hastings officiating.
