Ronald B. Felsburg

FELSBURG, Ronald Bruce 12/23/1934 - 4/3/2018 It is with saddened hearts that we say goodbye to our Dad, Ron Felsburg, who passed away peacefully on April 3, 2018 at the age of 83. A native Daytonian, Ron was the only child born to Evelyn Roweton Felsburg of Dayton and Herbert Felsburg of Clayton, both deceased. Ron was a graduate of Fairview High School 1953 and University of Dayton 1957 with an Honors degree in Economics. Following graduation, Ron began his military career in California and after returning to Dayton, he began a long, successful career in concrete sales. Proud of his work, he would often point out some of the tall buildings around the Dayton area as "one of his jobs". During this time, Ron also joined the Marine Corps Reserves where he served for a total of 26 plus years of service to the Marine Corps and retired as a Lt. Colonel. Ron is survived by his 4 children: Tamara (Carl), Susan, Catherine, and Timothy (Sara). Seven grandchildren: Anthony, Rachel, Matthew, Leah, Saskia, Aidan, and Nathan. Two great grandchildren: Kolten and Alyssa. Ron is also survived by ex-wife Mary Felsburg and other family members and friends including his best friend since the 4th grade, Don McMahan. Viewing will be held April 9th, 1pm at Rogers Funeral Home, Trotwood, Ohio with procession following at 2pm to Dayton Memorial Cemetery for a military burial. Any donations made in Ron's memory, may be made to Young Marines National Youth Organization. Arrangements entrusted to Rogers Funeral Home, Trotwood, Ohio.
