Ronald James Bailey

BAILEY, Ronald James Age 74, of West Alexandria, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2014. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Alonzo and Dessie Ola Bailey; grandson, Jacob L. Cole; and brothers, Eugene, Kenneth, John, Melvin, and Robert Bailey. He is survived by loving wife of 54 years, Phyllis; children, Rhonda and Ronnie Bailey; grandchildren, Benjamin, Hannah, and Olivia Bailey; great grandchild, Abigail Clouse; sisters, Catherine Gill and Carol Combs; brothers, Clifford, Richard, Joseph, and Paul Bailey; numerous nieces and nephews; and many more family and friends. Ron was a craftsman in the tile trade since he was 18 years old, and was the Owner and President of B & B Tile for 28 years. He had a passion for the sport of racing field trial dogs. The Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 8 from 6PM to 8PM at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. The Funeral Service will begin at 1PM at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 9 with Pastor Tom Vorhis officiating. Burial will follow at Trissel Cemetery, New Lebanon.
