Roy Edward Skidmore

SKIDMORE, Roy Edward Age 79 of Brookville, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2011. Preceded in death by his parents, Turner & Jeanette (Koch) Skidmore; his first wife, Lavon; twin brother, Ray; and step-son, Don Osborn. Roy is survived by his loving wife, Joann; 3 sons, David & wife Diana, Ray & wife Rosie, and O.B. (Gayle) Skidmore; 5 siblings, Phillip, Joann Yount, Georgia Fink, Mary Sexton, and Dennis; 7 grandchildren, John, Kelli, Matt, Rachel, Amy, Elizabeth, and Karissa; 7 step-children, Darlene Campbell, Vincent Leeth, Fred Leeth, Cindy Tipton, Peggy Leeth, Glenna Leeth, and Linda Melton and their extended families; and 11 great-grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 1, 2011 at Pyrmont Methodist Church, 4690 Sulphur Springs Rd. Brookville, OH 45309. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the start of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pyrmont United Methodist Church in memory of Roy.
