BROWN, Ruth Virginia

Age 102 of Lewisburg, formerly of Trotwood, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 8, 2023. She was born on May 6, 1921 in Mitchell Town, Virginia to her parents, Roger & Housie (Hoover) Campbell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald “Mac” Brown; son, Ronald Brown; and brothers, Arthur “Art”, Lester, and Ward Campbell. Ruth is survived by her son, Thomas (Pamela) Brown; sister, Edna Rhoades; grandchildren Heidi Bentz, Angie Brown, and Matthew Brown; 5 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Ruth retired from Trotwood Madison Schools after many years of service. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, fishing and watching baseball over the years. Ruth was a very caring & loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Visitation will be held from 11am-1pm with funeral to follow at 1:00pm on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon.
