Ruth H. Dietz

DIETZ, Ruth Hedwig Rathfelder Our loving wife, Mutti and Oma age 92, of Trotwood, passed away on Saturday April 11, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Born December 21, 1922 in Pforzheim, Germany. Preceded in death by parents Friedrich and Pauline Friedrike (Klein) Rathfelder and siblings Frieda, Hedwig and Erwin Hohl. Ruth grew up in Germany loving nature and long walks in the Black Forest with her dog, Max. She raised her family with love; nourishing us with stories, memories and wonderful German cooking. She always kept her family and friends, both near and far, close to her heart. She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Eugen Dietz; sister, Christa (Heinz) Hager and family of Germany; the Eugene Dietz family of Germany, Austria, and Italy; daughter, Marika R. (Robert) Palmer, Trotwood; son, Siegfried Dietz, Trotwood; son Wolfgang (Vicki) Dietz, Bellbrook; grandchildren, Victoria (Dwayne), Christina (David), Alex (Erin), Nicole, Brittney, and Lauren; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Andrew, Carolyn, Christopher, Katelyn, Emma, Kian. and great-great grandchild, Zareyah. The Visitation will be Wednesday, April 15 from 10AM to 11AM at Trotwood Church of the Brethren, 208 E Main St, Trotwood, 45426. The Funeral Service will begin at 11AM with Pastor Paula Bowser and Rev. Glenn Timmons officiating. Burial will follow the service at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
