Hileman, Ruth Ellen (nee Trump) Age 81 of Beavercreek, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away Saturday evening, December 22nd, 2018 at Miami Valley Hospital after a brief illness. She was a former elementary school teacher who loved children and the gift of music. She loved to sing and lent her beautiful voice to her beloved Capital University Chapel Choir in college, the Greenville Oratorio Society, and both the Kettering Community Chorus and the Miamisburg Community Chorus as well as her church choir. Her other interests included traveling with her husband, gardening and her annual shopping date with her daughters. She was born and reared in Canton Ohio where she graduated from Canton McKinley HS in 1955 and Capital University in Columbus in 1959 where she met and married her husband of nearly 61 years Marvin Hileman in 1957. After her teaching days she was a full-time mom. She is survived by her husband Marvin Dale Hileman, 4 daughters, Carolyn (Dan) VanVoorhis of Englewood OH, Diane (Jeff) Yeager of Maineville OH, Lisa (Thomas) Boyd of West Carrollton OH, and Deborah (Brenton) Coyle of Middletown OH. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and her sister Annie (Mike) Todd. She was preceded in death by her parents Russell and Gladys Trump, as well as 3 grandchildren and one great grandchild. A memorial service, celebration of life, will be held on Sunday, January 6th at 4:00PM at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in Farmersville Ohio. If you are unable to attend the celebration of life, visitation will be at St. Andrews Lutheran Church, Friday December 28th from 10:00am to 11:00am with a service to follow.
