Ruth Howard

HOWARD, Ruth Age 84, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015. She was born on January 27, 1930 in Leslie County, Ky. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Ray & Cassie (Farler) Howard; husband, Earl Howard; daughter, Linda Adams; and brothers, Elmer & Robert. She is survived by daughters, Geneva Hamilton, and Sandy (Jeff) Sink; grandchildren, Kyle Travis, Nicole, Anthony, Jana, and Joseph; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce (Jim), brothers, Allen (Barb), Jurdon (Sharon); sister-in-law, Ruth (Doc); and many more family members and friends. A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Friday, Jan. 23 at Rogers’ Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Ruth will then have visitation from 1-2 PM with a 2PM funeral service on Saturday at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home, 23185 U.S. 421, Hyden, KY 41749. Burial will follow at Hardy Bottom Cemetery.
