Ruth A. (Osborne) Massingale

MASSINGALE, Ruth A. (Osborne) age 67, of Union, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2012with her family by her side. Ruth was born February 12, 1945 in Fairborn, to the late Alvie and Isabelle Osborne. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Larry and Ronnie Osborne; and Father and Mother-In-Law, Leslie and Helen Massingale. Ruth is survived by her ex-husband, Les (Betty) Massingale; children, Angela (Jim) Boggs, Lisa (Ron) Huffman, and Jon (Becky) Massingale; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Kyle) Roy, Ashley (Dan) Safriet, Jamie Boggs, Cara Pinkston, Christopher Boggs, Adam Massingale, Nathan Huffman, and Joshua Huffman; great-grandchildren, Chase Roy, Colton Roy, and Jacey Pinkston; brothers, William (Martha) Osborne and Kenny Osborne; and numerous family and friends. She was a 1963 graduate of Jefferson Township High School and an avid fan of the Bengals, Reds, and NASCAR. The most enjoyment she received in life came from spending time with her family. The family would like to extend a "Thank You" to the nurses of Hospice of Dayton for the special care they took of Ruth. The Visitation will be held on Monday, October 22 from 11AM to 1PM at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, 110 W. Main St., Trotwood. The Funeral Service will begin at 1PM at the funeral home with Pastor Donnie Smith officiating, with burial following at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in memory of Ruth to Hospice of Dayton.
