Ruth Evelyn Ritchie

RITCHIE, Ruth Evelyn Age 85 of Dayton, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 19, 2019. She was born in Gainesboro, TN on April 14, 1934 to her parents Virgil & Valley (Brown) Dawes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry David Ritchie, Jr.; and daughter, Connie Haws. Ruth is survived by her daughter Shawnda (Joel) Burton; brother, Sonny Dawes; grandchildren, Jessie Haws, Samantha Williams, Jenna Vance, Chay Parker, and Trinity Burton; great grandchildren, Quintin Haws, Ethan Williams, Hayley Williams, and Violet Harrison; and many other extended family members and special friends. Ruth was a beautiful soul inside and out and a completely selfless human being. She would always make sure others ate and never left her presence hungry. Ruth also never hesitated to share the love of Christ to anyone she encountered. She was loved and will be dearly missed. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Friday at Victory Hill Church, 6887 W. Third St., Dayton, Ohio 45417. Funeral service will begin 10:30 AM Saturday, June 22md also at the Church. Pastors Cecil Wright & Joel Burton will be officiating.
