RUNNELS, Ruth Garnet Age 94 of Trotwood passed away, Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Born on November 13, 1922 in Watertown, Ohio to her parents Carleton & Nora (Hale) Gilliland who preceded her in death along with her husband Lloyd R. Runnels, Sr.; and 3 brothers, Carrol, Neal, and Joel. Ruth is survived by her 4 children, Lloyd (Joanie) Runnels, Jr., Karen (John) Shannon, Mary (Fred) Johnson, and Forest Runnels; 10 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 25 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 12-1 PM with funeral to follow at 1:00 PM on Monday, Sept. 18, 2017 at Rogers Funeral Homes in New Lebanon. Interment will follow at Preble Memory Gardens.
