Sandra L. Bantz

BANTZ, Sandra L. Age 82 of Englewood, passed away Friday, October 16, 2015. She was born on August 28, 1933 to her parents, Cecil & Opal (Snider) Hay, whom precede her in death along with her husband of 56 years, Richard “Dick” Bantz. Sandra is survived by her sons and their wives, Rick & Lynthia, Doug & Jean Bantz; and daughter and her husband, Carole & Bill Kuntzman; her grandchildren, Jeremy Bantz, Loni Bantz, Andy (Jessica) Kuntzman, Jane (Matt) Baldwin, Katie Bantz (fiancé Tim Kincaid), Brad Bantz; and 4 great-grandchildren, Noah, Kylie, Tanner, and Elias. She is also survived by her sister, Patricia Quigley; and sister-in-law, Beverly Focht; as well as many more close relatives, special friends, and neighbors. Sandra was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with all of her family. She loved playing board games, cards, and having family picnics. She also enjoyed her last few years at Brookdale Englewood with the staff and residents there. Visitation will be held 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with funeral service to begin at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Rogers’ Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Trotwood, Ohio 45426. Pastor Michael Hodson officiating. Interment will follow the service at Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, take part in an outdoor activity in memory of Sandra.
