Sandra Rae (Dillon) Parker, 79 of New Lebanon, Ohio went to be with the Lord on September 4th, 2026.
Sandra was born to the late Raymond and Audrey Dillon. Sandra graduated from Dixie High School and was the class of 1965. She continued her education at The Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing, where she obtained her Registered Nurse degree. Sandra then retired from Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton after 42 years. She also was the school nurse at New Lebanon schools for 10 years. She took pride in her job and continued to care deeply for people after retirement. She was a member previously of Plainview Open Bible Church and the First Baptist Church of New Lebanon. She loved reading her bible and doing word search, but above all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is proceeded in death by her husband of 41 years, Voyne Parker in 2022.
She is survived by her children, Andrea (Raymond) Brown, Jennifer Knight, Rachel (Derek) Damron and Sarah (Caleb) Reynolds. Her grandchildren, Marcus, Leeza (Tim), Kaitlyn (Jason), Eleyna, Cale, Rebekah, Danielle, Kenny, Kaleb, Audrey, Wyatt, and Lorelei, as well as 11 great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Shelby and Abby from Day City Hospice for going above and beyond in her care.
Visitation will be held from 11am-12pm with the funeral service to follow on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at Roger’s Funeral Home, 324 West Main St., New Lebanon. Interment will follow at Trissel Cemetery.
