Scott Thompson
Age 59 of Brookville, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. He was born in Muncie, IN to his parents, Ronald George & Barbara (Kremple) Thompson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Randy Ingram; step-daughter, Lorie Montgomery; and mother-in-law, Elaine Mowen.
Scott is survived by his wife, Jennifer Montgomery; son, Corey (Kelli) Thompson; daughter, Jessica (Steven) Smith; grandchildren, Braelee, Audrey, Waylon, Coltin, Blaze, Connor, Landin, and Mavis; siblings, Sabra Ingram, and Shane (Alissa) Thompson; special friends, Jimmy Owens, and Johnny; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Scott was a man of many words. He never met a stranger and was kind to everyone he met. He was an outdoors person who enjoyed woodworking and small engine repair as a hobby. Scott could often be found mowing the lawn with a cigar or roaming the aisles of Home Depot ready to help anyone with questions. Most of all he loved his family. When he talked about his grandchildren he would light up with the biggest smile. He was very proud of his family and brought so much love and laughter into everyone’s lives. He will be dearly missed by everyone that had the privilege of knowing him.
A visitation will be held from 5-7pm with memorial service to begin at 7:00pm on Tuesday, June 17th, 2025 at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
