Sonya H. Imes
Age 84 of Brookville, passed away on April 23, 2024 after a brief illness. Preceded in death by husband, Larry; son, David; parents, Carl & Dorothy (Clegg) Steele; brother, Richard “Dick” Steele; sisters, Donna Cox, Phyllis Gentry, and Merry Protzman; and sons-in-law, Robert Peyton and Rodney Adkins.
Sonya is survived by her daughter, Carole Adkins; son, Stephen (Angie) Imes; grandson, Adam (Shelby) Adkins; granddaughters, Cassidy (Hythem) Sbita, Hannah (fiancé Cameron Myers) Imes; great granddaughter, Paisley Anne and Emma Kate Sbita; and many nieces and nephews.
At Sonya’s request a Graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, April 26th, 2024 at Arlington Cemetery. Pastor Michael Trott officiating. www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
