Teckla Jane (Hardenbrook) Wilson

WILSON, Teckla Jane (Hardenbrook) August 2, 1934-September 21, 2018, age 84, passed away surrounded by family and friends. She was throughout her life a great champion of animals, birds, and children. After 20 years operating her own childcare business, she spent 30 years in the stone, brick, and building supply industry. She never met a stranger and befriended everyone. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Murl and Teckla Hardenbrook; and many, many beloved pets. She is survived by her brother, Gerald Hardenbrook; children, Dan (Wanda), Deann Ethridge, Donna Pugh, and Debra (Herb) Small; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; niece, Kim Etienne; cousins, nieces and nephews; and oh so many friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 25 from 5-8PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, Trotwood. A graveside service will begin at 11AM at Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, 7875 N. Crescent Rd, Covington, OH 45318. Jane would say, in lieu of flowers, please adopt a stray, feed a bird, or give to children.
