PERKINS, Thelma (Lemaster)

Age 94 of Englewood, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 27, 2023. She was born in Mashfork, KY on December 5, 1928. She was preceded in death by her parents, Green & Emily (Conley) Lemaster; husband, Floyd G. Perkins; sisters, Allie Kirtley, Ollie Hale, and Louise Jaynes; brothers, Wishard, Tucker, Noble, and Joseph Lemaster.

Thelma is survived by Virenna, Milton, Matthew, Boston, Darrell II, Alex, Lydia, Leah Jean, Ricky, and Jude.

Thelma was a graduate of Morehead and Wright State University. She started teaching in 1946 and taught 52 years, mostly at Trotwood Madison. She was mentioned in the “Who’s Who of American Teachers” 1992 edition. Thelma was caring and generous. She had a beautiful soul and lived a wonderful life. She will be dearly missed.
