Thomas F. "Tom" Ammon, age 82, passed away on December 9, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio. He was born on December 12, 1942, in Connersville, Indiana.
Tom dedicated 42 years of service to Otis Elevator (retired) and was a member of the IUEC Local 11. Throughout his life, he was also a proud member of the Farmersville Masonic Lodge. Tom’s passions included traveling, camping, horses, and he enjoyed cooking. He was a devoted fan of NASCAR and was a skilled carpenter.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, LouAnn "Annie" Ammon, and his children: Terry W. Ammon, Tony F. (Lori) Ammon, Tracie (Scott) Moran, and Trina (Dennis) Bohn, two step-sons, Sam (Amanda) Woodson and Jim Browning, and an impressive legacy of seven grandchildren: Chelsea, Tiffany, Amber, Cory, Carlee, Dylan, and Rachel, along with nine great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Francis B. Ammon and Rose Marie McDaniel; his sister, Donna Marie Loges; and two grandchildren, Lee Elizabeth “Leeza” Ammon and Thomas "Buddy" Ammon.
Visitation will be held at Rogers Funeral Homes in New Lebanon, Ohio, on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 5:00 PM.
