Thomas Reginald Lambdin

THOMAS REGINALD LAMBDIN, 87, of Dayton passed Tuesday, August 15, 2023. He was born on February 2, 1936 in Bonny Blue (Lee County), VA., the son of the late Jake and Tilda (Shackelford) Lambdin. On March 10, 1956 Thomas married Bobbie JoAnn Moore and she preceded him in death on November 14, 2000.

Thomas is survived by two children; Tom (Debbie) Lambdin of Springboro, OH and Richard (Angi) Lambdin of Dayton, OH, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two siblings; Lana Rowe and Brenda (Fred) Browning of Sidney, OH, many nieces, nephews and good friends. Preceding Thomas in death are one sister, Joyce and three brothers; Jake Jr., Gerald, and Carl.

Mr. Lambdin was employed by United States Postal Service for 34 years. Thomas was a popular steel guitar player in and around southwest Ohio for all of his adult life. He valued the friendships that he made with the many musicians, singers and friends over the last seventy years. His love for his family was unwavering.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Rogers Funeral Home, 324 West Main Street, New Lebanon, Ohio. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 PM with a brief graveside service immediately following at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Trotwood, Ohio.
