Tilford Powers

Tilford Powers, age 69, of West Alexandria, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 29, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on December 21, 1954 in Millsboro, Kentucky, the son of the late Sylvia (Leach) Norfleet and Daniel Powers.

Mr. Powers honorably served his country in the U.S. Army, and was a Self-Employed Painter for many years. He was a member of the King Hiram Lodge #88, West Alexandria, AMVETS # 918, and the James E. Ryan American Legion Post #322, West Alexandra.

Preceded in death by his grandson Scott White.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years Dolores (Hofacker) Powers, 3 children Teresa Crippen and husband Butch, Ed White and wife Patty, Jeff White and wife Beth, 3 brothers Floyd Powers, Eddie Medford and wife Sandy, Danny Powers and wife Angie, his sister Sandy Johnson and husband Buck, 9 grandchildren John Garner and wife Karrie, Jesse Garner and wife Haylie, Riley Hammaker and husband Cody, Madison Hemmelgarn, Bailey Hemmelgarn, Stephanie White, Sandra Tucker, Jennifer Howard, and Vanna Maggard and husband Dean, 15 great grandchildren Joey, Kenny, Andrew, Jayden, Abby, Justin, Logan, Lani, Kelsie, Kali, Hudson, Oliver, Ella, Coleson and Mikey, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
