DYE, Vera M. (Bantz) Age 93, of Trotwood, passed away peacefully at Brookhaven Assisted Living, Sunday, April 27, 2014. Vera was born on February 20, 1921 to her parents, Noah & Iva (Blessing) Bantz. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence Rowe; second husband, Robert Dye; brothers, Orville and Delbert Bantz; and sister, Alberta Hodson. Vera is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Charles) Ullery; son, Gene (Sharon) Rowe; grandchildren; Robyn Kissee, Dena (Jim) Bell, Barbara Rowe, Larry Rowe, Tina (Mike) Dailey, Jon (Jessica) Rowe, Ashley Rowe, Jim Napier, and Kim (John) Hornbeck; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and sister, Alvene Busic. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and nurses at Brookhaven Assisted Living and Hospice of Dayton. The Visitation will be Thursday, May 1 from 10AM to 12Noon at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, Trotwood. The Funeral Service will begin at 12Noon with Pastor Michael Hodson, officiating.
