Violet Maxine Hogan

HOGAN, Violet Maxine Age 94, of Winter Haven, FL passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 at Somers Hospice House in Sebring, FL. She was born July 11, 1924 in Dayton, OH to the late William Jerry and Ada Ethel Glendorothy (Sipe) Hogan. Violet graduated from Fairview High School in 1942, having been a member of the varsity field hockey team. She is preceded in death by brothers Sylvester E. Hogan and Kenneth E. Hogan. Survivors include daughters Marlene L. Rung of Aurora, CO, Janice L. Bennett of Thornton, CO, sons Robert E. Stemple of Frostproof, FL, Mark E. Stemple of Winter Haven, FL, and John T. Stemple of Winter Haven, FL. Burial arrangements are being coordinated by Rogers' Funeral Homes. No services are planned. Interment will be at Parish Cemetery in Clay Township.
