Virginia May "Ginny" King

Virginia May “Ginny” King, formerly from Pinehurst, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 14, 2020, at Wedgewood Nursing Home in Lakeland, Fla. Ginny was born Nov. 11, 1926, in New Lebanon, Ohio, to William and Ida Mitchell, and was the youngest of four children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin King, her parents, and three siblings. Ginny is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Richard Koenig and Joyce and Joseph Viscusi, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and her cat, Vessy. She graciously volunteered her time at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital and her church at Community Presbyterian Church for several years. She was an avid bridge player in the Pinehurst area. Ginny was loved by many and will be missed greatly by her family and friends. The family will receive friends from 10-10:30am with Funeral service to follow on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 10:30 am.
